Your guide to know everything you need about studying Fine Arts
What you need to know about Fine Arts
Fine Arts is a broad discipline that includes branches like Visual, Auditory, Applied, or Performance Arts, among others. During courses, you will learn about art history and principles that can make your creations stand out. Some of the classes you can expect to take during a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts include critical themes in art and design, materials and methods, images and narratives, visual intelligence, figure drawing, studio practice, art writing and criticism, etc. As a future artist, you will spend most of your time working on art pieces, defining your unique style, and pushing the boundaries of your creativity and abilities. To become a master of your craft, you’ll need to present your work, accept criticism, and practise often. You’ll also need to own communication, presentation, organisation, attention to detail, and self-promotion skills.
