    About

The combination of Chartered Certified Accountant study with university awards will prepare you for senior leadership roles within accountancy.

By following the ACCAs syllabus for the Strategic Professional stage, you can graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma or a Masters degree whilst at the same time studying the relevant modules required to become a Chartered Certified Accountant.

This course is offered on a part-time and full-time basis.

Membership of ACCA also provides you with access to the institutes resources and the opportunity to network with senior professionals and executives.

As an ACCA Gold Learning Partner, the university is recognised as providing high quality standards of tuition and excellent student support.

    Course structure

You will be following the ACCA’s Strategic Professional papers as part of the Postgraduate Diploma/Masters qualification.

You will be allocated a subject-specialist supervisor who will be available to support you, advise you and discuss your personal research needs during the year for your research project or dissertation. In addition, students have the opportunity to attend workshops covering research methods and ethical issues and to share ideas and strategies.

The Masters and Postgraduate Diploma are mapped to the ACCA’s Strategic Professional (Essential) papers as well as one of the ACCA Strategic Professional option papers.

To become ACCA qualified you will also need to complete
one further ACCA option paper, this can be done alongside the MSc Accounting.

The ACCA will also require you to have completed their Ethics and Professional Skills module and hold a minimum of 3-years work experience before you can be fully qualified.

Please let us know and send a copy of your results so we can check your qualification.
