This will help to ensure that our graduates are industry ready. These accreditations are reviewed on a regular basis.

Youll be able to connect with leading accounting firms thanks to our innovative Partners in Accountancy scheme. The Partners in Accountancy firms will offer accountancy students direct input to their studies from leading case studies on technical and professional areas and providing careers support.
The course doesn't just focus on accounting techniques â€“ we also look at some essential skills for the workplace, including communication and presentation skills.
In your third year well give you the opportunity to take a placement year that could see you working in a business and gaining real world experience.

What subjects will you cover?

Youll explore subjects such as Financial Accounting, Accountants in Organisations, Advanced Corporate Reporting, Management Accounting, Quantitative Analysis, Econometrics, Micro and Macro Economics, Decision Science and the Legal Environment of Business and Employment for Accountants.

For direct entry onto Undergraduate courses a Diploma from community college is required.
For entry onto Undergraduate courses a Certificate of Secondary Education and a Foundation Year is required.
For entry onto Postgraduate courses a Bachelor degree is required.

The University of Huddersfield is pleased to accept a Pass in all four elements at the Proficiency Level of the Ascentis Anglia ESOL Language qualification as meeting the University’s English Language requirements for students from the EU.

If you don’t yet meet these requirements, don’t worry as we have an extensive Pre-Sessional English Programme(PSP) on campus.
