Admissions Requirements
- 4 year bachelor's degree
- A minimum 2.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
- Proof of English Proficiency for some international candidates. TOEFL score of 85 internet based, 563 paper based taken before 2017, or IELTS composite score of 7 (with no subject area below a 6.5)
- 1 letter of recommendation
- Resume
Prerequisites
The following are prerequisite courses for the Certificate program. Prerequisites must be taken at an institution that teaches United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and U.S. taxation. All of the prerequisites except for Introduction to Financial Accounting can be completed during your program.
- Introduction to Financial Accounting
- Introduction to Managerial Accounting
- Intermediate Financial Accounting I & II
- Principles of Federal Taxation
Standardized Tests

Funding Opportunities
Funding opportunities are limited for graduate certificate students. Since a certificate is a non-degree seeking program, students do not qualify for financial aid (i.e. student loans). Students typically self-fund program costs, but can look into third party scholarship opportunities.

Student needing prerequisite courses should apply for a summer start, but must have already completed an introductory financial accounting course.
International Conditional Admission
International applicants will not be considered for conditional admission by this program.
