About

This program is centered on rural social work practice centers in Northeast Arkansas.The curriculum is designed to equip social work practitioners in the application of evidencebased practice and the 12-step planned change process of Alcoholics Anonymous. The curriculum is designed to teach graduates how to assess and treat addictions. Therefore, fieldplacements must be in a substance abuse treatment setting or in an agency whose primary clients are in substance abuse recovery.
