The Adult/International TESL Certificate is designed for those individuals who intend to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to adult learners, either domestically or abroad. The certificate is issued by the University of Cincinnati. Certificate graduates are qualified to work in international and domestic language schools or in community ESL/EFL programs for adults.

Entry Requirements
For our graduate programs, we welcome applications from students who hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) from a college or university accredited by a regional or general accrediting agency, and have at least a B average in undergraduate course work (or otherwise give evidence of promise that is judged satisfactory by the admitting program).
