    About

Introducing MA Ancient and Medieval History

In MA Ancient and Medieval History you will take a combination of:

    • Greek and Roman history courses in the classics department
    • medieval history courses in the history department

Together these will give you a well-rounded experience, bridging the ancient and medieval European and Mediterranean worlds.

In history and classics, we have particular expertise in the history of Late Antiquity, Byzantium and the early medieval west. This means the two subjects are well integrated.
