Course Information
With a wide variety of units, on this course you will explore techniques, approaches and styles, as well as delving into the practicalities of working in the creative industries. You will have a mix of taught sessions and practical assignments, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of digital artists and creative specialists –not only helping you develop your skills, but also your industry network. The course also features a series of guest lectures, letting you hear from high-profile professionals from a range of animation practices as well as the wider field of digital arts. Offering a window into professional practice, these lectures give you the chance to develop industry-relevant understanding and insight drawn directly from seasoned professionals extensive experience.

- You can take the four-year route, spending a year studying overseas in Europe, North America or Australia, or boosting your career prospects with a 9-12 month placement.

- Learn in high-specification laboratories, including a specialist cell/molecular biology lab, a DNA-sequencing lab, specialist animal behaviour facilities with Ethovision and Observer software, invertebrate behaviour, freshwater and terrestrial ecology labs, and controlled environment plant growth chambers.

Requirements
Entry Requirements
You should have the Tawjihi plus a recognised foundation or diploma (from a community college) or an Intermediate Diploma/Associate Degree.
English Program Requirements
You need to have a recognised English language qualification to study at Manchester Metropolitan.
The score required will vary depending on the qualification and the area of study you have chosen. If you hold an offer of a place from the University, your offer will give you the specific requirements for your course.
Typical International English Language Testing System (IELTS) requirements are:
- 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent for undergraduate courses
- 6.5 (no less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent for postgraduate courses

Apply via UCAS
UCAS Apply is an online application system and is suitable if you have regular access to the internet. You can apply for up to five courses. That could be five different courses at a single university or five courses at different institutions.
UCAS Apply is offered through schools, colleges or British Council Offices if they are a registered UCAS centre. You can also make an independent application.

The deadline for UCAS applications is 6:00pm UK time on 30 June. Applications received after this date will automatically be entered into UCAS Clearing.

3. Pay your deposit
If you have accepted your offer to study at Manchester Metropolitan, you must pay a tuition fee deposit to secure your place.
The deposit is first of your tuition fee payments. It is deducted from your total tuition fees.
