    • This is a Top-up programme designed to allow you to progress from a prior approved qualification to an honours level degree. • There is an induction programme to facilitate effective transition to honours degree level • Based at Eccles 6th Form College in Salford with state of the art teaching facilities, including classrooms, veterinary nursing suite and laboratories. • Outstanding, purpose built animal and equine facilities provide practical opportunities to ensure you will become effective in the workplace. • Teaching Staff have extensive professional knowledge and industry experience within the animal management sector, with expertise in both core curriculum and current developments. • High staff to student ratios which increases the amount of contact time, interaction and one-to-one support. • Extensive online support through our bespoke Virtual Learning Environment. • Inclusive learning environment where individualised learning and assessment is encouraged and supported through Individual Learning Plans. • Additional dedicated support given to those with learning difficulties or disabilities, as part of a nurturing, pastoral environment. • Dedicated HE Support Officer providing academic and pastoral support. • Strong links with industry, community, educational and professional companies will improve your employability skills and knowledge. • This programme will help you gain employment in the following sectors: educational officer, animal welfare inspector, pet nutritionist, zoo department manager, animal laboratory specialist, ecologist, rehabilitation specialist, behavioural consultant, kennel/cattery managers, farm park advisors and veterinary services, FE and HE teaching, and postgraduate research.
