    In this programme, you will study the fundamental mathematics, coding and deep learning skills that underpin AI software and its applications. From Year One, you will work on practical projects set by leading researchers and industry professionals in AI, all while building up a professional AI portfolio of work that will help boost your employability.

    • Benefit from our London location and close links with industry and take the opportunity to apply for internships with the South East Physics Network (SEPnet).

    Module highlights include:

    • Coding Practices in AI Development – In this module, you will learn the tools of the trade for AI application and development.
    • Exploring AI and Understanding Applications – in this module, you will look into the big topics surrounding the use of AI today, including ethics, sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion and more.
    • AI in the Real World – in this module, you will learn about the different industries that AI is used in, the real-world examples of what jobs people are doing, and how different techniques can be used in multiple sectors.
    • Entrepreneurship and Consultancy – in this module, you will have the opportunity to learn about pitching to business professionals and how AI consultancy works in practice.

    Entry requirements

    A-LevelGrades AAB at A-Level. This must include A-Level Mathematics. Excludes General Studies.
    IBInternational Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 34 points overall, including 6,6,5 from three Higher Level subjects. This must include Mathematics at Higher Level. We will consider either Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation or Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at Higher Level.

    Access HEAccess qualifications are not considered for entry to this programme.
    GCSEMinimum five GCSE passes including English and Maths at grade C or 4.

    Alternative offers may be made to applicants taking the Extended Project Qualification.
