    About

If you care about animal welfare, have an interest in the biological sciences, and want to work with animals, this foundation degree offers the perfect platform.

You'll develop a range of biological science and animal-related skills by studying specific areas concerning animal behaviour and welfare. This will equip you for a variety of careers within the animal management industry, or for further study (such as BSc Hons Applied Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare).

Modules cover animal behaviour, welfare and husbandry, as well as breeding management and genetics. These make full use of the state-of-the-art facilities that are designed with animal welfare and species-specific behavioural needs in mind.

The course is offered by one of the university's partner colleges: Hadlow College in Kent.
