    Course summary

    The Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Clinical Anatomy is aimed at students who have studied some basic anatomy within their first degree, for example: medical doctors, nurses, allied health professionals etc. The course delivers both the theoretical and practical aspects of applied clinical anatomical knowledge and skills in addition to the application of anatomical sciences within a chosen focus. 

    Teaching, learning and assessment Teaching The programme of study will be delivered through block teaching sessions and selfdirected study. You will benefit from a variety of methods of teaching including; lecturers, seminars, discussions, problemsolving sessions, tutorials, and dissections to address theoretical and practical aspects of applied clinical anatomical knowledge. You will be expected to complete at least double the amount of self directed study. Assessment A variety of modes of assessment are offered throughout the programme. Applied Clinical Anatomy 1 module You can choose your own mode of assessment from the selection given, for example, assignment, presentation or an interactive practical examination. Applied Clinical Anatomy 2 module You will present a portfolio of evidence of your experiential learning during the process of exploring indepth the theoretical and practical aspects of clinical anatomical knowledge relating to your chosen field of knowledge. This will include a 4000word assignment, four laboratory reports including such activities as dissections, clinical meetings, etc., a 2500 word reflective piece demonstrating experiential learning and finally the evidence of experiential learning.

    Bachelor degree from a recognised institution with overall GPA of 2.75/4.0 or 68%75.9% Bachelor degree from a recognised institution with overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 76%83.9% IELTS English or equivalent required check the requirement for your chosen course.     4. Receive your offer - offers will normally be made by the end of March if you applied by the January UCAS deadline
    5. Attend an Applicant Visit Day - this is your opportunity to have a 'taster' of life at Keele
    6. Make your choice - UCAS will advise you when you need to decide upon your 1st and 2nd university choice
    7. Apply for accommodation - once you've accepted your offer you can apply for accommodation
    8. Arrange your finances - register and apply online if you wish to receive a student loan
    9. Results day - your university place will be confirmed based upon meeting your entry requirements, along with your accommodation
    10. Clearing hotline - if you apply after 30 June or do not hold any offers, you can go through Clearing to find a university place
    11. Enrolment week - we'll send your Keele IT account details and enrolment details so that you can start your university journey with us
