About

The main objective of the Department of Child Protection and Care is to support the development of children in need of protection and at risk, with an acute and chronic illness with a normal, special needs age group of 0-18 years. It also develops projects related to children, families, educators and society using contemporary approaches. The projects are prepared and disseminated to the benefit of the children and their families in all parts of the society.

Employment areas of graduates can be listed as follows: Ministry of Family and Social Policy, various public and private social service institutions, health institutions and organizations, Child and Youth Centers, Protection and Rehabilitation Centers. Apart from this, they can also be employed in non-governmental organizations and refugee centers where children are protected by state, in various projects requiring social work, in international organizations such as Unicef and in voluntary charities
