    Thrive in the financial, consulting and accounting sectors. Develop the expertise and competencies to adapt and thrive in the fast paced financial, consulting and accounting sectors. Accredited by CPA Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, this degree provides a strong foundation in accounting principles and processes, management accounting, business law, economics, finance, computer information systems, auditing, and taxation law, international accounting developments and standards, and current issues in financial reporting. In addition, students will develop the ‘soft' skills (eg interpersonal skills, communication, organisational skills, teamwork) that accountants need to deal with clients and grow businesses.

    Entry Requirements

    The minimum entry requirement is comparable to an ATAR of 65, please note that some Flinders programs require higher than a comparable ATAR of 65. For further information please see the individual requirements for programs on the course listings.

    Credit for previous university studies is granted at the discretion of the faculty that administers a chosen course. If you are seeking credit or exemption you will need to provide detailed subject outlines of studies completed.

    If you do not meet the necessary academic requirements you may enrol in a Foundation Program at Flinders International Study Centre (FISC).

     

    English Program Requirements

    If you don’t meet our English language entry requirements and need to improve your English language proficiency, you can do so through our approved English Language Instruction Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) providers. This means that you can attend the required English language tuition at approved ELICOS providers and gain direct entry into university without an IELTS or TOEFL test.
