    Course Overview

    This is a new course which allows you to combine the study of mathematics with computer science and post-primary teaching education. This is a four year concurrent initial teacher education programme and includes a number of school placement opportunities throughout the course. At the end of this four year course graduates will be eligible to teach computer science and mathematics.

    Minimum Grade H5 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at O6/H7 level in the Leaving
    Certificate, including Irish, English, another Language and Mathematics, and two other subjects recognised for entry purposes.


    Additional Requirements

    A minimum H6 or O2 Grade in Mathematics is also a requirement.
