Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Early Childhood Education and Care (Work Based)

Calling all QQI Level 5 and 6 working early childhood educators! Do you want to build your qualifications up to Level 7 or 8? This blended work-based Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 8) offers current early childhood educators an opportunity to build their qualifications through flexible, interactive, on-line and in-person delivery.

This course is run on our Blanchardstown campus and builds strong links between work-based practice and theoretical knowledge through a range of delivery modes convenient to those working in the profession. Students will have the opportunity to link their learning to practice throughout the programme, with significant emphasis on the value of practice led learning and the theoretical underpinnings for practice.

The course is approved by the Qualifications Advisory Board (QAB) as a professional award in Early Learning and Care and eligible for Nurturing Skills Learner fund approval.
