    About

Public relations is now an essential part of business life. Its practitioners are expected to communicate with a wide range of people, including employees, the media, consumers and external stakeholders. Our major in Public Relations is designed for those who want to pursue a career in the demanding world of corporate communications or an allied field such as event management, media relations or speechwriting. Available as a second Major as part of your Bachelor of Arts degree, you will explore topics such as business research, public relations writing, issues and crisis management, event management and electronic public relations.

While many graduates will find employment in the private sector, the skills you attain during this program are also in high demand by the government, politicians and the not-for-profit sector.
