A double degree in biomedical science and business provides students with the knowledge to work as part of multidisciplinary teams in biomedical research, development and commercialisation.
During this degree, you will complete core biomedical science units that develop foundation knowledge and skills in biomedical science. Your business studies will focus on fundamental knowledge that will build understanding of how businesses operate within the commercial and legal environment.
This degree offers you the flexibility to choose a major study area or two minor study areas in biomedical science, and a major study area in business. These may include anatomical sciences, human biochemistry, human physiology, infection and immunity, or cell and molecular biotechnology. Business majors include economics, international business, management and marketing. You will be taught by professionals with experience across disciplines and established partnerships with industry that is directly linked to research development and commercialisation. Your degree will integrate real case studies and offer valuable opportunities to network with industry. Students may also choose to complete work experience in an industry, clinical or research-oriented workplace.

Complete the entry test application form (PDF file, 282.8 KB) and submit it to QUT College by the closing date listed on the form.
On the day of your test, register at QUT College reception and present your photo ID. You will be provided with test instructions at this time.

When we receive your acceptance, we'll send you an electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE). Check that all the information on the eCoE is correct. You will need your eCoE to apply for your visa.
Use your CoE to organise your Australian student visa online through your closest overseas Australian embassy or consulate.
You must nominate the overseas embassy or consulate where you will be applying for your visa on your acceptance of offer form. Choose the closest one to your city of residence to avoid delays in your visa processing.
