Western's Bachelor of Cyber Security and Behaviour is the only cyber security degree in Australia that analyses both the technical and human side, and places you at the forefront of a dynamic digital world. 

Successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program, 1 year of university studies, or completion of a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Certificate IV

With many English testing centres currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Western Sydney University will temporarily extend the time validity for existing approved official IELTS or TOEFL IBT English test scores to 3 years instead of 2 years before the intended intake commencement for programs requiring IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

Changes have also been made to our list of approved English tests. Western will temporarily accept the following alternative English tests for programs requiring IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

Under 18 Admission. If you are under the age of 18 when planning to study at The College or the University, you must provide additional documentation about your accommodation and welfare. Visit the Under 18 Students page

 for more information. Please note: Australian Immigration states that international students must attend at least 80% of their classes to fulfil their visa requirements. You will be marked absent from class even if you have a medical certificate. The College must inform Australian Immigration if a student does not comply with the requirements of their student visa. For this reason, it is your responsibility to check the requirements of your visa before taking leave.

International students wanting to study in Australia must also meet certain financial requirements. Students are required to have genuine access to sufficient funds while studying in Australia, including the cost of travel, tuition, school costs for any dependents, and living costs.
