    The field of Electrical Services Engineering and Sustainable Design incorporates engineering disciplines employed both in modern buildings and the retrofit and upgrade of facilities.

    The disciplines covered by this course include environmental control and communication, power distribution, standby generation, lighting, emergency services (lighting and fire), access control, data services, automation, building management systems and many more.

    There is plenty of scope for exercising innovation, creativity and flair when using new technologies to solve everyday problems.

    In the course, you’ll learn about green building technology, efficient use of energy and sustainability, refrigeration, heating, ventilation & air-conditioning, renewable plant technologies, and project management.

    Subjects include energy and the environment, electrical services design, computer applications, renewable energy plant, life protection systems, building information modelling, sustainable building engineering, industrial/building automation, and electrical services design.
