Professional recognitionThis food science course allows you to apply to the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) for the qualification of Associate Nutritionist; however, the NSA does not formally accredit courses. Graduates are also eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST).
Study in dedicated areasWhen applying, you'll pick one of the following streams of study: exercise science, community nutrition, food innovation and marketing. You can also consider studying the stream that may facilitate entry to postgraduate dietetics study.
