    • The only program in Australia to enable you to gain hands-on experience in all 6 disciplines of Medical Laboratory Science. This degree offers practical experience in blood transfusion and immunology, clinical biochemistry, haematology, histopathology, microbiology, and molecular diagnosis.     • Develop your foundational knowledge in medical science with core subjects including general chemistry, cell biology, anatomy, and physiology which will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how the body functions in both healthy and diseased states.
    • From your second year onwards, you will focus on specialist areas of medical laboratory science, learning to diagnose diseases, and delve deeper into blood transfusions, immunology, clinical biochemistry, haematology, histopathology, microbiology, and molecular diagnostics.

    Middle Eastern Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Tawjihiyah)

    Grade average of 78 in the final year results OR successful completion of a recognised pre-tertiary or foundation program OR successful completion of one year study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution is required in addition to the completion of High School studies.

    English Program Requirements

    English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

    English test results must be no more than two years old.
