    UQ's Bachelor of Midwifery is a respected and innovative program, developed in consultation with women, parents, students, midwifery associations and industry partners. The approach to learning includes lectures, inquiry-based workshops and clinical skills, integrating clinical placements in various midwifery settings.

    In your 3 years of the program, our dedicated placement team will arrange your clinical placement, where you'll apply your theoretical knowledge to practise and develop clinical skills in real-life settings, with an interprofessional approach.

    GCE A and AS Levels

    `A¿ Levels for locations including: Bahamas, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cameroon, Falkland Islands, Gambia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Hong Kong (SAR), Ireland, Kenya, Liberia, Macau, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Aggregate of best 3 (or 2) A Level subjects or a combination of A and AS Level subjects equivalent to 3 (or 2) A Level subjects. A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1 and AS Levels count for half of these scores.

    Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations

    The United States of America Advanced Placements (APs) issued by the College Board; an aggregate of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 AP results, where A=5, B=4, C=3 (Pass), D=2, E=1. Completion of the equivalent of a recognised school leaving certificate is also required.

    USA Composite SAT-I Score(Since March 2016)

    Total of SAT-I: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and SAT-I: Mathematics. Completion of the equivalent of a recognised school leaving certificate is also required.

    PTE Academic - Overall 72, sub bands minimum 72.

    Bridging English (BE) results, CES, BEP, and OET not accepted.
