The programme is designed to equip graduates with strong core technical and analytical skills essential for a career in biomedical design, engineering and technology. The programme utilises innovative course design methods and modern teaching techniques, and integrates guest lectures from design professionals, enhancing industry relevance.
Beyond core teaching in modules such as biomechanics, biomaterials, and design principles, the programme incorporates tailored education in management techniques, legislation, circular design and impact of decisions on the environment, frontier technologies, manufacturing systems, regulatory affairs, ethics, and communications. These elements ensure graduates are well-prepared to meet society’s growing expectations for innovative, ethically responsible designers with environmental consciousness.
