    About

    1. Students will demonstrate clinical competencies in diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures involving the appendicular skeleton, thoracic, abdomen, pelvic, spine, and skull
    2. Students will function as competent radiographers in all areas of care to include in-patient, outpatient, surgical, endoscopic, fluoroscopic, and patient assessment areas
    3. Students will provide a safe environment for patient, self and others through adherence to federal, state, and professional radiation safety guidelines
    4. Students will demonstrate effective written and oral interpersonal communication skills while interacting with patients, patient advocates, other healthcare providers, peers, and the public
    5. Students will act as a committed patient advocate in any and all situations recognizing the importance of providing appropriate, effective, and all necessary patient care
    6. Students will understand and appreciate the importance of community service, both professional and local, and the needs of the individuals in a community
    7. Students will demonstrate their abilities to meet professional obligations by gaining their ARRT certification

    How to Apply

    Once we have received all items, we will review your application and consider you for a place at Boise State. Admissions decisions are typically issued within two weeks of the completion of your application, though this can vary depending on the time of year and volume of applications we are receiving.

    If you are accepted to Boise State and plan to study on an F-1 student visa or J-1 student exchange visa, you will need to submit a Financial Documentation Form and proof of sufficient funds in order to begin the process of applying for your student visa. If you are currently studying in the U.S. on an F-1 student visa, you will also submit copies of your current I-20, visa, and I-94 after being admitted to Boise State and will need to reach out to your current institution to request that your SEVIS record be transferred.
