Bachelor of Social Sciences and Bachelor of Laws

    About

The Bachelor of Social Sciences is designed for those who are passionate about seeking meaningful answers to these pressing questions and who wish to create purposeful change in the world. You’ll forge your skills in the social sciences via a set of core units, while deepening and broadening your knowledge through one of three interdisciplinary majors in health, climate or work. In your final year, you’ll collaborate with peers to research, analyse and present solutions to a driving concern pitched by industry partners. With a unique skill set that bridges the arts and sciences, you’ll graduate with the capabilities to manage complex stakeholders, bring diverse technical experts together and progress multifaceted policy debates.

The hallmark of Macquarie’s Bachelor of Laws is its recognition of the way legal frameworks underpin such global issues. You’ll be challenged to think critically about the law to seek innovative solutions to legal problems – skills highly valued by employers. With the option to combine your law degree with any other Macquarie bachelor degree, you can open the way to an array of careers in legal practice, private industry, government, education and community services.
