Pathways: Choose the ESSA accredited major in Exercise Science and apply for the esteemed UTS Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, or with the correct elective choice, apply for the UTS Master of Physiotherapy program. If elite sport is your area of interest, you can choose to apply for our Master of High Performance Sport.
The Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology leads to eligibility for registration with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an accredited Exercise Physiologist. The Master of Physiotherapy leads to eligibility for registration as a physiotherapist in Australia.
The course provides students with a strong understanding of the processes and mechanisms underlying sport and exercise science, and with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and plan sport and exercise activities in health, exercise science, sport, event and exercise therapy contexts.
Course aims
The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science aims to provide graduates with the necessary skills to gain initial employment in the human movement field, as well as the analytical skills necessary for critical appraisal of developments in the field.
