Become a leader in the field of sport and exercise science with our Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science program. Gain a deep understanding of the processes underlying sport and exercise science, preparing you to plan and manage activities in various contexts such as health, sport, exercise science, and exercise therapy. Choose from Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) accredited majors in Exercise Science or Exercise Therapy, with pathways to the esteemed UTS Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, Master of High Performance Sport or Master of Physiotherapy program.
You'll gain a strong understanding of the processes and mechanisms underlying sport and exercise science, along with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and plan sport and exercise activities in health, exercise science, sport, event and exercise therapy contexts.
In the fourth year of the combined degree, you will spend an academic year studying in the local language at a university in the country of your major. You will also complete an honours level research project under the supervision of a relevant UTS academic.
Eligibility hinges on maintaining a credit average and the availability of international placements. This course equips you with a unique blend of scientific expertise and international acumen, preparing you for diverse career paths in the sport and exercise sector.
