    If you're passionate about health and fitness, get moving towards an exciting career in the rapidly growing sports industry through VU's Bachelor of Sport Science.

    This specialised program leads to a variety of career options in clinical exercise science, rehabilitation, sport science or human movement.

    You'll graduate with excellent foundational knowledge for a professional career in the sport and exercise industry, with key skills in these areas:

    • physiology
    • kinesiology
    • biomechanics
    • exercise psychology.

    You can choose one of two majors to match your interests and career goals:

    • Sport Performance – analysing and improving performance, health, and participation in sport and exercise.
    • Sport Coaching – coaching knowledge and skills in community-based coaching, talent identification and athlete–coach development.

    You can then choose one of a range of minor options to tailor your course to fit your career ambitions.

    On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

    1. Integrate the biological and social scientific knowledge and professional skills that underpin professional practice in the field of sport science;
    2. Critically analyse and synthesise knowledge gathered from sport science research and professional practice;
