Mission

The most important need of Banking and Insurance sector, which underwent restructuring in the aftermath of 2001 economic crises in Turkey, is qualified labor force. Therefore, with each passing day, the need for graduates, who have gained fundamental and legal knowledge in the sector, has been accelerating at branches and headquarters of the banks throughout Turkey and other businesses such as leasing and financial services. Banking and Insurance sector that operate internationally will be able to meet the needs of skilled managers and their assistants.

Program Opportunities

Students who will gain knowledge related to business as well as fundamental base in Banking and Insurance can, depending on their success and personal development, have careers in senior management level. The teaching language of the program is Turkish. Students, who wish, can have English preparatory education for one year.

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
5. Equivalency Paper (Denklik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)
6. Language Proficiency Certificate
7. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are awarded with Associate's Degree in Banking and the title "Banking Occupational Staff."

Graduates can work at banking, insurance and finance sector. They can also work at accountant offices as assistants as well as at:

1. Passport photograph
2. High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. 60 % marks (min) in High School
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points
   (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). 
   (If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr)
7. For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required.
8. Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.
