    About

    The Biomedical & Molecular Sciences Research MSc, MRes course is a multi- disciplinary programme that will provide you with superior practical skills and a firm theoretical grounding in a range of scientific fields.
  • Lectures delivered by experienced specialist researchers covering contemporary issues in Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Neuro Biology and Cardiovascular Sciences.
  • Interactive tutorials including, for example, a session on biosciences statistics and bioinformatics.
  • Each student can choose a number of expert led workshops focused on specialised technical skills and scientific approaches and methodologies relevant to Biomedical Sciences.
  • The course offers advanced practical experience and supervised training together with an in-depth research project within an active research group; projects are either six months (MSc) or nine months (MRes) in length.
  • Many students publish their results in top tier journals.

    Applicants who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Jordan will need to demonstrate the following grades to be considered for a Postgraduate course at King's:

    UK degree classification Jordanian equivalency

    High 2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    (equivalent to 65% overall)

    GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 80%

    2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 75%

    High 2:2 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 70%

    A Master's degree from a recognised university with high grades considered for programmes requiring a UK Master's degree.
