Biomedical Science (with Foundation Year), BSc (Hons)

Our foundation year degree courses are ideal if you’ve got the ability to study but you don’t have the qualifications you need to enter the full honours degree programme. During the foundation year, we’ll equip you with the knowledge, understanding, and practical science skills you’ll need to succeed at degree level.

We’ll support and encourage you to develop your critical thinking and gain the skills and confidence you need to thrive at university. Once you’re on this course, there’s no need to make an additional application and you won’t have to attend an interview to progress to Year 1 of our Biomedical Science degree (entry requirements apply).

Throughout the course you’ll develop the laboratory-based and theoretical skills needed for sound scientific practice. The skills you gain are perfect for anyone who aspires to work in diagnostic and pathology laboratories in hospitals and other medical institutions, or work in areas such as toxicology.

Diploma from a technical / vocational or health college / institute with a GPA of 2.0/5 or 60-64%

Successful completion of on year of appropriate study at a recognised KSA university with a GPA 2.5/5 (65-69%)
