    About

    Our foundation year will prepare you for degree-level study. You'll gain skills in academic writing, referencing and critical thinking. You'll also complete groupwork, to improve your communication and teamwork.

    You will continue to develop your language skills. This includes different strategies to learn languages. You'll reflect on your own abilities and identify areas for improvements. You'll also look at area studies, which will raise your cultural awareness.

    On successful completion, you can progress onto our British Sign Language & Deaf Studies BA (Hons) degree. You will become fluent in British Sign Language. We cover all aspects of deafness as a social and cultural phenomenon. The wealth of modules available to choose from means you can tailor your studies to meet your career goals.

    Diploma from a technical / vocational or health college / institute with a GPA of 2.0/5 or 60-64%

    Successful completion of on year of appropriate study at a recognised KSA university with a GPA 2.5/5 (65-69%)
