About
You will study the latest practice and procedures for the project management of new-build and refurbishment projects. Your studies will cover industrial initiatives such as strategic partnering and collaboration, prefabrication and offsite manufacture, lean construction techniques, and dispute resolution. You will also learn how to apply critical thinking to your experiences, which will help you work towards continuous professional development.
Many of the project-based assessments are based on live projects and include both guest lectures from industry specialists and site visits. Your Construction Project Management degree will allow you to manage effectively the range of tasks involved in a construction project. You'll be able to take responsibility for time, quality, and health and safety, and overcome the challenges of new-build or refurbishment projects.

Teaching
You will be taught through a combination of lectures, seminars and tutorials. You will also get chance to participate in numerous site visits to local companies allowing you to see how the theory is applied in a professional setting and live projects will be used in many of the project modules throughout your course. In addition, you will work independently to prepare for classes and complete project work.
Assessment
Your assessments will involve examinations, coursework and problem-based exercises taught using real-life scenarios.
