If you don't have the entry requirements to enrol directly onto our Construction Project Management degree, this offers an alternative route into degree study with an additional foundation year. Accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), this Construction Project Management degree prepares you for a variety of project management roles in the construction industry. You will develop core project management skills that reflect the needs of the profession, such as programming and planning, project administration, risk management, construction technology, contract practice, health and safety, sustainability, and managing people. Project management is a thriving profession in the UK and internationally. By the time you graduate, you will have the skills and confidence to progress as a construction project manager.

You will study the latest practice and procedures for the project management of new-build and refurbishment projects. Your studies will cover industrial initiatives such as strategic partnering and collaboration, prefabrication and offsite manufacture, lean construction techniques, and dispute resolution. You will also learn how to apply critical thinking to your experiences, which will help you work towards continuous professional development.

Many of the project-based assessments are based on live projects and include both guest lectures from industry specialists and site visits.
