The course provides in depth understanding of subjects of general public interest in marine biology, such as marine mammals.

• This course provides you with a deeper understanding of marine ecology and the legislative frameworks for marine conservation
• Career relevant skills are developed through techniques such as GIS and data analysis with various fieldwork opportunities throughout the units
• The majority of your teaching will take place at BU’s Talbot Campus, however two of the units (at least one day a week), is spent at Kingston Maurward College in Dorchester, which has secured significant recent investment.
