Business Administration (Finance and Audit) Top Up BA (Hons)

This one-year course is for those who already have qualifications (Level 4 and 5 or 240 credits) or experience in this field and wish to gain a degree in Business Administration with a specific focus. It opens the door to a range of rewarding careers in finance both in the UK and abroad.

This course provides you with a comprehensive knowledge of the main ideas concepts and principles of audit and finance as they relate to individuals businesses institutions and governments. Blending theory with practice it gives you the necessary financial analytical communication and IT skills to interpret real-life business situations and make confident professional and astute business decisions.

With this degree you should have already studied finance and audit at an appropriate level or have substantial relevant work experience in the field. You will be ready to extend your existing knowledge skills and capabilities to respond proactively and creatively to contemporary issues in finance and audit in an increasingly global marketplace. Using real-life case studies and practical exercises you explore current thought and practice across the globe analysing and reflecting on key managerial decisions. Your supervised final-year project is expected to take an international focus.

To apply for a place on an undergraduate course (BA/BSc) you need to have completed your high school education (12 years) and have a pass equivalent to two UK A level passes and have the required English language qualification.

When you submit an application form you must remember to include photocopies of the following supporting documents. We do not need to see your original qualifications and certificates.

• Copies of your official academic qualifications and certificates including proof of your level of English Language (where relevant)
