There are two distinct components to the degree apprenticeship - the academic degree programme and the End Point Assessment. The End Point Assessment involves an assessment of the apprentices portfolio of evidence which is collated whilst on-programme. The End Point Assessment will be undertaken by a panel comprising the employer, HEI and an independent assessor; the independent assessor will have the final decision in relation to the assessment and grading of the apprentice. The University and employer work closely with each other to:
- Assure that knowledge you gain on the degree is successfully applied in the workplace
- To ensure that the standards and practices required to meet the professional competencies contained in the apprenticeship standard are adequately evidenced by you
Apprentices will study a core curriculum that focuses on organisational performance, personal effectiveness, and transferable skills. The programme features a wide range of modules, including; Marketing and Communications, Accounting for Decision Making, Managing People and Performance, Personal and Professional Development, Ethical Leadership in the Workplace and Strategic Change Management.
