A minor can be the perfect the complement to your degree. College of Business students can pursue minors in another field of business, making themselves well-rounded candidates for future employers. Students must apply six hours of business electives and may apply one "principles course" in the major to the minor. (Economics minors may count ECON 202 and 312). The remaining nine hours required to complete the minor will be in addition to major requirements.
The College of Business offers 10 minors for students pursuing an undergraduate major in a college other than business. These minors provide students from other disciplines the opportunity to gain business knowledge and enrich their current area of study.
A student must earn a grade of C or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirements of a minor. In addition, at least 50% of the courses applied toward the minor must be taken at Louisiana Tech.
