    This degree prepares you for a career in business management, giving you the skills, knowledge, and experience to succeed. It includes hands-on, practical experience through working on real business problems, consultancy projects with real clients and opportunities for internships. You'll also have lots of support to set up your own business. A personal development programme will help you discover your career ambitions and strengths and prepare you for your next step.

    The experiences you'll gain will help you establish a business network and stand out from the crowd when starting your career. You'll learn from academic tutors, senior people, and experts from industry and each other.

    You'll also have the flexibility to take exciting module options, skills development and additional qualifications to deepen your understanding and expertise, and ensure your profile stands out.

    Most of our courses offer the option of a professional placement year. You can apply directly for this option using the UCAS code on this page that includes professional placement. Alternatively, you can change to this option once you begin the course.

    • All non-UK applicants must meet our English Language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5

    Direct entry into a later year

    We welcome Home and International applications from prospective students who wish to enter at a later stage of a course or gain exemption from specific modules through credit transfer. This is assessed through our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and may qualify the applicant for direct entry to Year 2 (Level 5) or Final Year (Level 6).

    Please note:

    • For Level 5 entry, applicants are required to provide evidence of a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) or an equivalent qualification.
    • For Level 6 entry, applicants are required to provide evidence of a Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) or an equivalent qualification.
