    About

How is Hull University Business School different from other business schools?

For starters, our independent accreditations (including AMBA and AACSB) are held by fewer than 5% of the world's 13,000 business programmes. That places us, and you, in an exclusive club. But it's our approach that really sets us apart"¦

Here, you'll tackle real problems, find real solutions and do real business from day one. Through live projects, placements and internships for the likes of Team GB, Pepsi, Tesco, Microsoft, Marks & Spencer and Jaguar Land Rover, to name a few. Or by helping SMEs with their challenges via our Business Clinic.

First, you'll gain a rock-solid grounding in how to run a successful and sustainable business.

Then you get the option to switch direction after your first year, and delve deeper into a specialism that could be your career: marketing, entrepreneurship, human resource management, logistics"¦

There's also the options to study abroad thanks to our partnerships with leading business schools and universities across the world, or to spend a year in placement gaining valuable CV-boosting experience.

Plus, you'll have even more opportunities than ever before to make connections that will help you in your future career, from our many links with industry, as well as meeting with like-minded entrepreneurs, organisations and corporate partners in our recently enhanced Business Lounge.

Conveniently located within the Business School, it's a vibrant hub for organisations to collaborate and work creatively, and is also a great space for our students to meet, learn from, and make an impression on decision-makers, laying the foundations for your future career – all on campus. Studying at Hull University Business School gives you a unique learning experience and places you as part of an exclusive club.

That way, you leave here as a well-rounded, responsible business graduate and a future professional with standout international experience.

Choose a career-driven degree and do real business from day one at Hull University Business School. Here's how"¦

For the majority of our undergraduate courses, you’ll need to apply through UCAS. As well as providing your personal details, academic qualifications and any employment history – it’s a great way to showcase your skills, qualities and passion for the subject you’re wanting to study.

You don’t need to complete your application all at once – after you’ve registered with UCAS, you can save your progress and sign back in at any time.

Use our institution code H72, and for medicine (HYMS) use H75.

    When to apply

Please apply through UCAS. We encourage applications by the January UCAS deadline, but will normally consider later applications for most courses. However, please be aware that Midwifery and Children's Nursing may close at that time.

For Medicine, applications must reach UCAS by 15 October of the year before the course starts.

To guarantee entry to the University, you must have met all the conditions of your offer by 31 August.

    UCAS Extra

If you have used all five of your UCAS choices and not received any offers, UCAS Extra allows you to make one additional choice*. UCAS Extra is available from late February until 30 June. Please check the UCAS website for up to date information, including which programmes are available.

*It is unlikely that you will get an offer by reapplying to the same department through UCAS Extra.
