What is Business Studies and a Language?

This four year programme offers an exciting way of learning about business concepts, theories and models, in a variety of subject areas, as well as getting to grips in an in-depth and comprehensive manner with another country’s language, its society, culture and business environment.

Leaving Certificate:

O4/H6 Mathematics - PLEASE NOTE: This requirement is changing to H4 or O2 in Mathematics for admission in 2027

H3 French

GCSE:

Grade B/6 Mathematics - PLEASE NOTE: This requirement is changing to Grade A/8 in Mathematics for admission in 2027

Advanced GCE (A Level):

Grade B French

International Baccalaureate:

SL Grade 5 Mathematics - PLEASE NOTE: This requirement is changing to Grade A/8 in Mathematics for admission in 2027

HL Grade 6 French

English Language Requirements

All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language. Applicants to this course are required to meet Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements. On graduation you will have a strong academic knowledge of international business and management, together with a high-level of competence in the language you have studied. Many are working in marketing or international management roles while others occupy more specialist positions (such as analysts or researchers). Some proceed to undertake further study and research in international business at postgraduate level.
