The Career-Based Intervention Endorsement Preparation non-degree program is designed to prepare educators for teaching learners ages 12 through 21 or grades 7 through 12 who are identified as disadvantaged (either academically and/or economically) or with disabilities and who have barriers to achieving academic and career success. Successful completion of this program qualifies individuals to apply for the Career-Based Intervention endorsement granted by the Ohio Department of Education.
The program does not result in a degree. Individuals interested in obtaining this endorsement and a graduate degree from Kent State University must also be fully admitted into the major and complete the prescribed coursework.
