    About

This course is designed for those already working within a careers setting or those interested in a career change and becoming a qualified practitioner in this exciting, dynamic and important sector. It incorporates the professional qualification (the QCD) into the structure of the Post Graduate Diploma so that you can achieve both an academic and professional qualification.

Our aim is to develop your skills, knowledge and competences to a level where you will be able to be a leader and developer in the sector if you so wish. To that end you will have the opportunity to add a dissertation to your PG Diploma and attain a full MA degree.

Over the years a number of our graduates have gone further to study at doctoral level with a Doctorate in Education (EdD) or a PhD and are now leading members of the profession.

If you are interested in becoming a fully qualified practitioner in the Careers sector, able to work with any age group or in any context, this post graduate diploma provides you with the skills and knowledge to do so to the highest level. Taught by experienced and fully qualified tutors you will receive high quality teaching and training in this important sector.
