About this degree
You will develop an advanced knowledge of central and south-eastern Europe from a multidisciplinary perspective, focusing on aspects of history, politics and culture. You will also develop generic research skills, interdisciplinary and discipline-specific research skills, area specific research skills and language skills oriented towards carrying out research in the region.

Who this course is for
Our programme is designed for both students with an undergraduate degree in central and south-east European studies and those with little or no prior experience of the subject. It prepares students for further academic research or employment in business, think tanks and NGOs, both in the UK and overseas. Those with backgrounds in arts and humantiies, or social sicences are particularly welcome to apply.
