Entry Requirements
Applicants should normally have a primary degree (Level 8 - National Framework of Qualifications) with a minimum result of a 2H2 (Second class honours, grade 2) in a relevant branch of science or engineering (e.g. Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Biochemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Environmental, Food or Materials Science, Mechanical, Environmental or Food Engineering). They must also show evidence of proficiency in chemistry (chemical thermodynamics, reaction kinetics) and mathematics (particularly in differential and integral calculus). Applications from graduates with work experience are especially welcome.

- If your qualifications have been obtained in a country where English is an official language, no further documents are required. Otherwise, the following additional documents must be provided:

- The minimum requirement will be a DET score of 120 with no less than 110 in any component.
- An interview may be required in conjunction with this for certain programmes.
TOEFL580 (paper based) or 90 (internet based)
IELTS
Minimum score of 6.5* with no less than 6.0 in any component.
*Please note some programmes have a higher IELTS requirement.
