During the course students are encouraged to share information, ideas, values and experiences, and develop problem-solving skills. They also undertake a variety of placements and field observations. This provides students with the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and enhance their employability skills. We have excellent links with a wide range of local employers, including Primary and Secondary Schools, Children's Residential Care Homes, Domestic Violence Centres, Early Years Settings, Pupil Referral Units and Family Support Services, providing students with the freedom to carry out work placements in environments related to their career choices. Years one and two are delivered by Burnley College, the final year is delivered by UCLan Preston.
