Are you an enthusiastic, curious, and hard-working individual who is keen to expand your knowledge and upgrade your technical background with a graduate degree?
The University of Waterloo’s Department of Civil Engineering is your destination for a graduate student experience that will yield benefits long after graduation.
The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering is a coursework-based degree option, which may be completed on a part-time or full-time basis. If you are registered full-time, you can normally complete the degree in three to four terms. An accelerated MEng is available for students who took two extra grad courses during their undergraduate program that were not part of their bachelor's degree requirements. This option is open to all students from the University of Waterloo and other Canadian Universities.
Please note that this is a self-funded degree option; therefore, you will not be provided with funding or be assigned a supervisor.
As one of the world’s top engineering schools and Canada’s largest, our program goes above and beyond to provide an environment where emerging technologies, innovative research, and state-of-the-art facilities converge. At Waterloo, not only do we foster an inspiring space for students but our policy on intellectual property ensures that you will have complete ownership over your ideas and technologies.
