This course is a top-up to the FdSc Civil & Coastal Engineering (or similar) into a full honours degree. The course consolidates the skills and knowledge you have previously acquired and will be co-delivered with the University of Plymouth. Civil engineers will play an integral role in the development of civil infrastructure in the coming years, drawing upon their knowledge to combat the issues presented by growing populations, increased urbanisation, climate change and severe weather events. You will benefit from the exceptional facilities at the College, whilst Torbay itself has 2 miles of coastline and is a UNESCO-recognised Global Geopark, making an exceptional location to study coastal disciplines. You can also study this programme via a degree apprenticeship pathway, click here to find out more. The programme has close links with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) and you may become student members.
