Overview The Communications program from The City University of New York offers the following areas of specialization: Media Studies, Corporate Communications, Design and Digital Media, and Journalism. The index is based on the applicant’s high school courses and academic average and the combined verbal and mathematics SAT scores. An applicant whose score reaches or exceeds the College’s minimum index number will be admitted to a bachelor’s degree program.
