COMPUTER and INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGIES EDUCATION

Mission

The Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies aims to educate educators, software technicians, and computer teachers who are socially responsible, who are committed to ethical values, who are secular, questioning, evaluation, rights and problem solving, and proficient in teaching designs.

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
5. Equivalency Paper (Denklik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)
6. Language Proficiency Certificate
7. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.

Graduates can work in Turkish Education System, while all the state and private primary and secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education are assigned as computer teachers. They can have the opportunity to work in web design, programming for private and government. They also work as an instructional designer and educational technologiest in all institutions. It is also possible that they will continue as research assistants at various universities. They can also work as expert in giving careers in below:

• Government / Private sector- as Instructional designer and educational technologist, Information Technology Manager-Advisor
• Material designer and evaluation speacialist in ID process for educational/instructional technology
• Instructional Software Development Specialist
• Teacher of Computer and Instructional Technologies
• Academical study in University

1. Passport photograph
2. High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. 60 % marks (min) in High School
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points
   (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). 
   (If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr)
7. For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required.
8. Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.
